12. 12. 1919 - POŠTA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ 1919

Přetisková emise, kterou byly vypotřebovány známky rakouského císařství a maďarského království platné ke dni 28. 10. 1918 na území Československé republiky. K přetištění byly použity jednak poštovní známky nacházející se v zásobách pošty a jednak známky vyměněné poštou uživatelům poštovních služeb. Přetiskem byly opatřeny i některé rakouské a maďarské poštovní známky, které již k 28.10. 1918 na území Československa neplatily, i některé poštovní známky, které byly vydány nástupnickými státy - Rakouskou republikou a Maďarskou republikou po 28. říjnu 1918.

Třířádkový knihtiskový přetisk POŠTA / ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ / 1919  v barvě modré, černé a černozelené byl zhotoven v tiskárně A. Haase v Praze. Rozlišuje se 7 druhů přetisků (A-G). Všechny poštovní známky opatřené přetiskem platily jako známky výplatní bez ohledu na jejich původní určení bez změny nominální hodnoty. Poštovní známky emise POŠTA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ 1919 byly prodávány s příplatkem 50% k jejich nominální ceně.

Z této emise pochází vůbec nejvzácnější československá poštovní známka. Jedná se o původně rakouskou "Čtyřkorunu s převráceným přetiskem POŠTA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ 1919 na žilkovaném papíru", která byla prodána naším aukčním domem v březnu roku 2018 za rekordních 9.300.000 Kč v rámci dražby sbírky Ludvíka Pytlíčka v Obecním domě v Praze.

Platnost všech poštovních známek emise PČ 1919 byla do 31.1.1920.
