18. 12. 1918 Hradčany - zoubkované

Autor návrhu prvních československých známek s motivem Hradčan byl Alfons Mucha. Známky byly tištěny knihtiskem. Celkem bylo vydáno 14 hodnot s různou perforací 1h - 200h (A - H, I - L.)
Tisková forma (TF) - pro jednotlivé hodnoty bylo použito 1 až 8 tiskových desek o 100 známkových polích; přepážkový arch (PA) byl vždy 10 x 10 známek, sestavených po 2 nebo 4 do tiskové formy (TF).
Známky byly vydány bez perforace i s různými druhy a rozměry zoubkování (typy zoubkování A - H). Hradčanské poštovní známky byly vydány na papíru různé jakosti a tloušťky, bílý až nažloutlý či narůžovělý. Lep je zpravidla hladký bílý nebo nahnědlý. Vzdálenost mezi obrazy známek je 4,4 mm. Jednotlivé hodnoty emise Hradčany vycházely postupně v průběhu 16 měsíců a lze u nich rozlišit 6 druhů kreseb (a-e + ea, kat. Michel I. - V. + V.a), které se liší v obrazu známky.

a/ malý bílý nápis na barevném podkladu (I. kresba - hodnoty 3h fialová, 5h světle zelená, 10h červená, 20h modrozelená, 25h modrá, 30h žlutá, 40h oranžová)

b/ malý barevný nápis na bílém podkladu (II. kresba - hodnoty 100h hnědá, 200h ultramarínová, 400h modrofialová)

c/ velký bílý nápis na barevném podkladu, bílý keř, slunce (III. kresba - 1h hnědá, 50h fialová)

d/ velký bílý nápis na barevném podkladu, šrafovaný keř bez slunce (IV. kresba - 60h žlutooranžová, 80h olivová, 300h zelenošedá, 1000h fialová)

e/ velký bílý nápis na barevném podkladu, bez keře a slunce, větší kresba chrámu sv. Mikuláše (V. kresba - 5h modrozelená, 10h zelená, 15h cihlově červená, 20h karmínová, 25h fialová, 50h modrá, 75h šedozelená, 120h šedá, 500h hnědá)

ea/ hrubší kresba - velký bílý nápis na barevném podkladu, bez keře a slunce, větší kresba chrámu sv. Mikuláše (V.a kresba - 30h světle fialová)
