První emise známek Nevisu z roku 1861-1878 byly vypracovány a vydány v tiskárně Nissen & Parker v Londýně a zobrazují dvě ženy u léčivého pramene. Tento námět byl převzat z velkého koloniálního znaku ostrova. Tyto známky jsou sběratelsky oblíbené a hledané.

Další emise od roku 1879 byly vydány v tiskárně De La Rue.
