Karibský ostrov Monserrat byl od 17. století součástí koloniálních území Spojeného království. První poštovní známky pro tento ostrov byly vydány v roce 1876. Jednalo se o přetiskové známky Antiguy s portrétem královny Viktorie vytištěné tiskárnou De La Rue v Londýně.
